Voyage Across the Seas: An Educational Guide
The Age of the Renaissance was a time of rebirth, new ideas, and grand exploration! Our Gracious Majesty, Queen Elizabeth I, invites all who attend the faire to embark on a special voyage. This journey will challenge your mind and transport you back in history to uncover the wonders of an era long past.
Your Voyage Instructions
This guide outlines the stops you must visit to complete your voyage. At each stop, gather knowledge and collect the seal needed to complete your task. At the end of your journey, the Queen—or perhaps one of her trusted courtiers—will quiz you on the discoveries you’ve made and ensure you’ve collected the required seals.
A Knighting Ceremony will be held daily at 3 PM at the Royal Court for those achieving lord or ladyship status. However, you may turn in your completed voyage until 5 PM daily to claim your prize.
Signs Along Your Journey
Look for exclamation marks posted along the town’s paths to guide you to each important stop. Each location will immerse you in Renaissance life, teaching you about this remarkable period of exploration, innovation, and culture. Those who successfully complete their voyage will receive a special prize and an opportunity to be knighted by Her Majesty.
Mini Voyage for Young Explorers
For Her Majesty’s younger subjects, a Mini Voyage is available! Stop by the Queen’s Royal Court to obtain your treasure map. Complete the map’s activities to receive a token of appreciation from the Queen herself.

14. Pirate Ship
Upon completing your voyage, return to the Pirate Ship and take a “Self-portrait of thyself and crewmates. Be sure to tag #Tworiversfaire—Then return to the first port you entered (Quest Tent)—to claim your well-deserved prize.

Daily Knighting Ceremonies: Held at the Royal Court promptly at 3:00 PM, honoring those who have achieved lord or ladyship status.
Prizes: Available until 5:00 PM each day of the faire for all victorious voyage-goers.
